This is the working record of a book that took twelve years to arrive and a
trilogy I did not plan on.

Here, I write about the parts nobody warns you about, covers I scrapped and rebuilt, the scams that circle new authors, what my editor catches that I miss, scenes that I struggled with for weeks and where books two and three actually stand.

No milestones that are really advertisements. If something went badly, it goes here too.

Vanity is alive and well in self-publishing

So you spend 12 years dreaming about this book you started writing and then you finally finish it. Along the way you pay for a Copyright, you build and subscribe to a website hosting service and buy a domain. Next, you hire an Editor. You pay for graphics tools and then get asked about an audio book. Now get go and hire a narrator. You pay for interior formatting and more images and a tool to bring that all together.
